I remembered eating a lettuce, peas, and mayo salad years ago and decided to try it on my daughter to get her to eat more vegetables. This recipe is it! She loved it and so did my husband. Thank you!

Thank you for this recipe! I had this salad decades ago and always thought about it, now I have the secrets to making it - deliciously of course! I did modify a bit: 1. Mix mayo with Ranch dressing (preferred "white" dressing). 2. Used purple onion for a sharper taste, 3. Seasoned with salt/pepper and garlic powder - lightly! Lastly, I've thought about other modifications - Southwest flavors with frozen grilled corn vs peas then Thousand Island + mayo with salsa or pico de gallo. Yuuum!! It's a keeper!!

This is the only version I knew growing up and is still my favorite. I'm with you on the bell pepper experience! Sara
