In reply to Margie. Two suggestions: make the thumbprint a little deeper to hold more frosting and/or use a tad less icing on each cookie. Hope this helps!

Ive made them a few times and everyone loves the m but why does my frosting run down the sides of the cookie??

In reply to Erik. Yes, the butter and chocolate chips have fat but it's divided into 40 cookies. I think it might be a little higher though, but not a lot. (my manual calculation came out a little higher too) Also, it depends on the kind of chocolate you use. They are so good--hope you enjoy them! Sara

Looks delicious and can’t to give this a whirl. How are you figuring only 2g of fat, though? Given the butter and chocolate, I figured it would be a lot higher.
