My older sister and brother lived in Lake Jackson for many years. When we went to visit, we always had to get some Sweeties. Im sorry The Local is no longer there. It was such a cool place.

My first sweetie was at The Local – omg they quickly became my favorite. I always thought that they had a touch of peppermint flavor. I guess it was the coloring playing tricks lol.
