Easy Spinach Dip

If you love classic Knorr spinach dip, you've got to try this spin on it! Creamy, tangy, and absolutely crave-worthy, it's the way we've made it for over 30 years and it's always a hit! Better yet, this spinach dip is one of the easiest appetizers you can make -- only 5 simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz frozen spinach thawed, squeezed, drained
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 1 pkg Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
  • 1 loaf pumpernickel bread Optional
  • 1 can water chestnuts, chopped Optional

Instructions

  • Thaw frozen spinach in a colander. Once thawed, push spinach down into colander with your hands or a wooden spoon to squeeze out as much water as possible.

  • Let the cream cheese sit on the counter for about ½ hour. It just needs to be soft enough to mix.
  • In a large mixing bowl, stir together all ingredients until thoroughly mixed. Scoop spinach dip into a storage container until ready to serve.
  • The traditional way of serving Knorr spinach dip is to hollow out a round loaf of pumpernickel bread. Any round loaf would work as well. Chop the hollowed-out bread into bite size pieces to serve alongside the dip.
  • As an alternative to bread, you can serve your spinach dip in a pretty dish and serve with cut up vegetables, crackers, pretzels, etc.
