Old Fashioned Blueberry Cobbler is an American classic made with fresh blueberries. It is a classic dessert that's easy to make and perfect for a get together with family and friends!
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Cook for about five minutes stirring gently until the sauce thickens.
Use immediately or store in glass jar in refrigerator until ready to use.
To Make the Cobbler
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Add about a quart of blueberry filling to an oblong baking dish.
Mix all the topping ingredients by hand in a medium bowl.
Using a large spoon drop spoonful’s of dough on top of blueberry filling. You don’t have to cover all the blueberries, just try and drop the dough around evenly as pictured.
Bake for 45 – 60 minutes at 350°F until the topping is browned and the filling is bubbling.
Notes
Blueberries: Fresh is best! I do recommend making your own blueberry pie filling instead of buying it canned. Of course, you can use canned in a pinch.
