  • Peel, core, and slice 6 cups of apple slices (About 5 medium apples).
  • Toss apples with lemon juice.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to incorporate the butter. It will make a crumbly mixture.
  • Place the apple slices in an 8X8 baking dish.
  • Cover apples with the oat and flour mixture.
  • Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then serve with ice-cream.
