  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Brown and break up the sausage in a large skillet. When cooked through, drain if needed.
  • Cut up the block of cream cheese into small pieces and stir into the warm sausage.
  • Roll out the crescent dough sheets out onto prepared pan and smooth out the perforations.
  • Spoon half or the sausage filling on the center of each sheet of dough.
  • Fold each side of the dough into the middle and tuck in the ends.
  • Make the egg wash by beating on egg until the white and yolk are combined.
  • Brush the tops of the with egg wash and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  • Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until golden brown.
