Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Brown and break up the sausage in a large skillet. When cooked through, drain if needed.
Cut up the block of cream cheese into small pieces and stir into the warm sausage.
Roll out the crescent dough sheets out onto prepared pan and smooth out the perforations.
Spoon half or the sausage filling on the center of each sheet of dough.
Fold each side of the dough into the middle and tuck in the ends.
Make the egg wash by beating on egg until the white and yolk are combined.
Brush the tops of the with egg wash and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 25 – 30 minutes until golden brown.
